VCA White Lake Animal Hospital in White Lake, MI is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our one of a kind 2 doctor GP practice.
As an AAHA accredited hospital, we voluntarily uphold the Association’s high standards in 18 different areas and are routinely evaluated on over 900 different standards of veterinary care. Not all animal hospitals are accredited, and we are proud to be amongst only 12-15% of veterinary hospitals that hold this honor. We are also a Fear Free Conscious hospital with previous certification. We know how important it is to our patients that their visits to be as stress and anxiety free as possible.
VCA White Lake Animal Hospital consist of a team of extremely committed doctors, technicians and veterinary assistants that work together side by side to provide patient care that is second to none. Veterinary Technician Job Responsibilities: Surgical assistant, anesthetic monitoring, venipuncture, taking blood pressures, restraining patients for exams and procedures, performing dental prophy including full mouth radiographs, pharmacy, client education, maintaining a clean and sanitary hospital, and other standard technician duties. You may be performing CSR duties as well, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and checking patients in and out.
