div bspanGENERAL SUMMARY: /span/bspanSupport department leadership by coordinating the day-to-day shift activities of Environmental Services and Patient Transportation. Role will include training new and existing employees, working side by side with management, deploying staff as needed through Epic Tracker software, general cleaning, floor maintenance and special project activities. /spanbspanESSENTIAL DUTIES: /span/bspan1. Coordinate shift activities to include produce daily staffing roster, adjust staff assignments as needed, monitor EPIC tracker for room cleans, equipment requests, and patient transports. /spanspan2. Perform job duties as Patient Transporter, Environmental Attendants, or floor maintenance technicians. /spanspan3. Work with Supervisor to safe and compliant use of chemicals products, use of equipment, and performance issues. /spanspan4. Assist with training to include mandatory education, compliance, departmental training, and new employee orientation. /spanspan5. Participate in hospital committees and special programs. /spanspan6. Utilize the PFCC model for interactions with all customers internal and external. /spanspan7. Manage and triage all incoming calls for the hospital, POB, Out Patient Service center, and Rehabilitation and Dialysis Center. /spanbspanSTANDARD QUALIFICATIONS /span/bspanA. Education / Training: /spanspan High School Diploma or G.E.D., EVS and or Pt. Transportation work experience. /spanspan Preferred leadership experience and/or some college coursework. /spanspan Trained in their prospective job (Transporter, Environmental Attendant or Floor Maintenance Technician). /spanspanB. Work Experience: /spanspan Working knowledge of both the EVS and patient Transport positions. /spanspan Direct experience with EPIC tracker, Email, phone system and, paging system. /spanspanC. Certification, Licensure, Registration: /spanspan Current BLS Certified /spanspanD. Other Qualifications: /spanspan Excellent organization skills, written and oral communication skills. /spanspan Excellent human relation/leadership skills. /spanspan Knowledge and ability to appropriately apply hospital procedures, practices and Beaumont Health Values. /spanspan Utilize Patient and Family Centered Care skills with patients and visitors. /spanspan Computer knowledge to include Outlook email, and Epic Tracker software. /spanspan Leadership training/education. /spanspanWORKING CONDITIONS: /spanspanA.
