Speech Language Pathologist Traveling Do you have experience in Speech Therapy and are looking for rewarding work in an organization dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of others? In the Speech-Language Pathologist role, bring your commitment and clinical skills to a team-based workplace that puts people first. With an office based in Clarkston, NeuroRestorative-MI is seeking a dynamic SLP to serve participates in Wayne County and downriver communities.. This autonomous and professional role includes providing home and community based assessments and inventions to our unique population of persons being served- Direct and administer speech therapy using techniques that assist in the rehabilitation of individuals with functional disabilities of speech, language, voice and swallowing. Provide effective evaluations, documentation, and communication of medical information. - Our population of participates are in need of TBI, SCI, orthopedic injuries and/or other neurologic compromise. - Under general supervision and according to general policies and procedures, SLP diagnosis and treats speech, language, voice, swallowing and cognitive disorders - Counsels, educates and advises individuals served and their families regarding protocols and plan of care and develops home care plans, as needed. - Directs and administer services.using techniques that exist in the rehabilitation of individuals with functional disabilities of speech, language, voice, swallowing and cognitive. - Instructs individual served, family members and primary caregivers, as needed, to ensure the maintenance of or acquisition optimal functional levels for each individual. - Report and record assessments, evaluation, therapy interventions, and patient changes according to physician orders and The Mentor Network's policies. - Offer peer review utilization management. - Investigate and take appropriate actions on all concerns and/or complaints.- Maintain appropriate HIPPA compliance and a safe patient environment. -
Master’s Degree in SLP and one year’s experience as a SLP.
Current state licensure and ASHA CCC's.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Commitment to a multidisciplinary team approach.
