div uGeneral Summary/u:The Vice President of Physician Services is thesenior staff executive charged with coordinating and extending the capacity, productivity and influence of the Executive Vice President Chief Medical Officer, Beaumont Health and Medical Administration senior leadership to create incremental value for the physician enterprise. The VP serves as a critical liaison to internal and external constituencies and a project manager to develop, implement and manage key strategic initiatives spanning employed and independent physician stakeholders. S/he provides overall counsel on strategy execution and leads iterative processes to monitor, evaluate and refine tactical plans related to physician arrangements linked to strategic goals of BH. The VP is responsible for anticipating emerging opportunities and challenges related to Beaumont Physician Partners (BPP) and its component business functions, including physician relations, physician communications, contracting compensation, funds flow and clinical integration. In addition, s/he is responsible for shared services supporting both BPP and Beaumont Medical Group (BMG), including professional revenue cycle, managed care operations, clinical informatics and physician recruitment and on-boarding. The Vice President's ultimate responsibility is to ensure that all physician agreements are in compliance with the appropriate laws and regulations, in addition to William Beaumont Hospital's Corporate Integrity Agreement. uJob Duties/u:1. Provides leadership and direction to the Directors of Physician Contracting and the Director of Physician Compensation. Ensures Beaumont Health (BH) and BPP strategic priorities are communicated to these business units and that business unit goals and objectives align to ensure execution of organizational priorities. Supports the EVP, CMO with board governance obligations related to physician agreements, including but not limited to preparing confidential documents and presenting to high level executives and board subcommittee members. 2. Accountable executive for physician contracting processes, including required regulatory controls and audits. Coordinates standardized processes and accountability for contract requests, approvals, time reporting and performance evaluation across all BH hospitals and BMG. 3. Understand financial implications and budgetary impact of physician compensation plans and contracts. Collaborate with BPP/ BMG leadership to review and continually monitor performance relative to budget and identifies synergies or opportunities for continued efficiencies. 6. Provides oversight for BPP compliance plan, ensuring plan creation, implementation and ongoing monitoring. 7.
