Mercy Medical Center Clinton Floor Specialist - Janitor - Full-Time Nights in Saint Joseph Mercy Health System Hospital Campus - Chelsea, Michigan
The Environmental Specialist maintains the Operating Room environment by performing floor maintenance.
The opportunity is full-time, 40 hours per week scheduled 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. NO Weekends, NO Holidays. This role will specialize as a 'Floor Tech', waxing, stripping, cleaning floors as part of the Operating Room team. Those with relevant experience are encouraged to apply now.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE
Education: High School diploma or GED preferred. Able to speak, read, and write English. Possesses basic math skills.
Experience: Three months customer service or cleaning experience preferred.
Certification/Licensure: Not required.

Concentrate and pay close attention to detail.
Prioritize assigned tasks and organize work in a fast paced environment.

Frequently squat, kneel, and lift. Occasionally bend and twist.
Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance.
Lift, turn, push, pull, and position equipment.
Ability to utilize safe body mechanics.
