Pharmacy Technician - Pharmacy Services General

Full Time / 40 Hours

Rotating shifts (days 630a-3p and afternoons 2p-1030p). Every other weekend. Holiday rotation

What You Will Do

Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the pharmacist.

  • Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.

  • Prepare orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.

  • Repackage bulk medications.

  • Receive and store incoming supplies.

  • Serve as liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professional by providing information as necessary.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • One or more of the following is required:

  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Michigan Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

  • Pharmacy Intern credentialed from the Michigan Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) is preferred.

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
