Essential functions and responsibilities:
Maintain a clean and well-organized dock area ensuring order and safety for all items being loaded or unloaded.
Off load trucks and trailers.
Cleaning of the dock area as directed by the Dock Foreman.
Wear any and all assigned PPE provided, including but not limited to gloves, masks, or back guard when doing substantial lifting.
Report complaints, damage, maintenance issues, and any injuries occurring on or near the dock area for which the Salvation Army may become liable.
Sort, load, and unload all Salvation Army trucks per policy.
Must be available for a flexible schedule; to work early shifts, late shifts, and some weekends.
Other duties as assigned.

No education or experience required.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carr out simple one or two step instructions. Ability to deail wth standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Good speaking, hearing and vision ability, and excellent manual dexterity.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
