JOB SUMMARY
The Physician Assistant under the supervision of physician should complete comprehensive history and physical examinations, obtain appropriate testing, integrate clinical information with the medical data results and develop a differential diagnosis and
a medical treatment plan.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s Degree
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
Meet state requirements pertaining to a Physician Assistant
Experience as a physician assistant within a hospital or clinic treating adult and senior populations
Extensive contact with patients and families, physicians, medical assistants, office staff, and other health care personnel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Operating Room experience: familiarity with surgery and surgical issues: working knowledge of OR instrumentation
