Dept: Physical Therapy, Inpatient
Hours per pay period: 0
Schedule : Rotating, cover two weekend days per month
Position Summary:
Responsible for evaluating, planning and providing Physical Therapy treatment to restore optimal physical function and/or relieve pain.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Provides Physical Therapy evaluations including appropriateness of PT intervention, establishing the problem list, treatment plan of care, frequency and duration of treatment, and goals of PT treatment.
Administers Physical Therapy treatment consistent with the plan of care.
Re-evaluates, revises, or terminates treatment plan and goals as necessary.
Documents treatment provided appropriately in medical record in accordance with department policies.
Coordinates with other disciplines for effective treatment including Case Management and discharge planning.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’sdegree with Completion of a Physical Therapy curriculum
CurrentPhysical Therapy license to practice in the state of Michigan
BLScard from AHA required before start date (valid at least 60 days beyond startdate)
Noprior work experience is required
