Hours per pay period:40
Schedule :12 pm to 4 pm
Position Summary:
Collect laboratory specimens and deliver reports and necessary supplies to physician offices utilizing Hospital or Department vehicles assigned, according to a predetermined schedule or as assigned. Responsible for maintaining and assisting in lab client provisions accurately and in a timely manner. Completes client supply orders, departmental stock and supplies. Assists laboratory staff with a variety of tasks to complete the overall functions of the department. Maintains good public relations with all customers. The Courier may be assigned job duties to include inventory duties as listed below in addition to shared Courier responsibilities. The assignment of duties may change or overlap depending on availability and workload as determined by Laboratory leadership.
Qualifications
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Must possess validMichigan Driver’s License and be insurable under the hospital insuranceprogram
