ProMedica Health System Telemetry Monitor Technician - Nursing Staff Support - Per Diem - Variable in Monroe, Michigan

GENERAL SUMMARY: Under close supervision of a licensed nurse, and according to established policies, procedures and specific instructions, performs a variety of basic patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be high school graduate or equivalent

  • Must successfully complete hospital dysrhythmia course with 85% passing grade.

  • Prefer experience with computer order entry and knowledge of medical/technical terms.

  • Current BCLS and/or obtains and maintains Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training unit specific.

  • One to three months on-the-job training to become familiar with nursing units, policies, procedures and the like.
