ProMedica Health System Patient Care Supervisor - Inpatient Surgical Unit - Full Time - Nights in Monroe, Michigan

Position Summary:

Through role modeling, coaching and facilitation, coordinates high quality, effective patient care, while assisting staff to maintain clinical practice, professional, and critical thinking behaviors.

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of accredited BSN program, OR actively enrolled in an accredited BSN program.

  • Must have interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients of the following ages: pediatric (1-12 years); adolescent (13-17 years); adult (18-64 years); and geriatric (64 years and above); physicians, and other hospital personnel as needed to promote quality patient care.

  • Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Michigan

  • Minimum 3 years of current clinical experience

  • BLS and ACLS certified

  • Willingness to obtain BSN within 1-3 years after hire preferred.
