The role of the MiOPs EHS Leader is to:
Lead implementation of the MiOPs integration strategy for merging and developing EHS and process safety management systems, processes and requirements with respect to hDupont and hDow businesses.
Engage and enlist site and business leadership in the implementation of business and site integration plans.
Implement a compliant and aligned EHS learning platform to meet obligations established under DuPont EHS standard and compliance requirements.
Drive successful migration and implementation of DuPont EHS applications and tools from the former ODMS application.
Drive incorporation of DuPont EHS standards to deliver against performance requirements according to established timeframes.
Partner with business and site leaders to develop and implement EHS improvement strategies for meeting long term EHS and PSM performance targets.
Develop and implement strategies for defining and implementing the specific technical changes in applicable RAGAGEP requirements for process technology and the integration of a successful mechanical Integrity program, including but not limited to regulatory compliance aspects.
Oversight for PSM program-related elements (e.g., broad-based PSM program performance, PSM integration for new projects, site level PSM goals and objectives aligned with business and company objectives, and interaction with site leaders and other internal and corporate functions or teams that can impact PSM). Maintain a focus on process safety organizational learning and continuous improvement.
Interface with company and other site and business EHS leaders and other internal DuPont networks with a one EHS mindset. The goal of which is to collaborate on key initiatives, share key learnings, leverage expertise and resources, collect and analyze DuPont and external metrics for trends, and implement appropriate programs and system improvements.
Develop and maintain data management and tracking systems that periodically review and analyze the EHS and PSM program status through the use of leading and lagging metrics.
Ten plus years experience in all aspects of EHS and plant operations.
Ability to influence others at all levels, including others who are not under direct control
Leader, mentor and role model to other professionals. A demonstrated commitment to help others grow, develop and succeed.
Business acumen and judgment – understands value propositions and client pain points and can see how to build a link to business value for the client
Negotiation and relationship skills – ability to help client to see him/her as trusted and “expert” advisor
Ability to set and manage expectations (internally and with clients)
Project management skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
