div The Home Health Aide is certified through a program administered by the Michigan Home Health Association. The Home Health Aide is prepared to assist with the personal care needs of clients for the population served. He/she serves as a substitute for the client's identified self care deficits, or in the case of the incapacitated, dependent-care deficits. The duties of the Home Health Aide are planned and assigned by a Registered Nurse and are reviewed periodically during the course of care.
