The Medical Assistant performs administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of the practice leadership team. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, registering patients, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding for insurance purposes. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, assisting with procedures, dressing changes, and administering medication as directed by physician/physician extender.

$2,000 SIGN ON BONUS FOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATES Minimum EducationGraduate from High School or equivalent.Minimum Work ExperienceN/ARequired Licenses/CertificationsActive Medical Assistant (MA) certification, LPN license in the State of Michigan, RN license in State of Michigan, or valid RT(R) credentials.
