Henry Ford Health System LPN- Home Health Care/Hospice - Contingent - Allegiance Health - Jackson, MI in Jackson, Michigan
Under the supervision of a RN or provider, the LPN uses sound nursing judgment in the provision of nursing care. Performs a variety of both technical and routine nursing services. Collaborates with health care teams to implement the nursing care plan. Demonstrates clinical competence.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Currently in last semester of or graduated from an accredited LPN program.
Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to problem-solve.
Critical thinking skills and judgment necessary in the delivery of patient care.
Knowledge about the care of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
Exceptional customer service skills.
Basic computer knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications:
LPN experience; Women and Children Services preferred.
Prior experience working in a healthcare environment
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
MI LPN License or if graduate nurse, LPN License within 90 days of hire
Current BLS or obtained during Patient Care Orientation
