My Community Dental Centers Inc Patient Experience in Ionia, Michigan

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides initial interaction between MCDC and potential patients by successfully answering incoming calls for MCDC’s Patient Experience Call Center

  • Accurately collects and enters the required patient demographic data and insurance information to complete new patient registration

  • Verification of dental insurance through the use of multiple online insurance sites

  • Act as a liaison with private community agencies that coordinate appointment scheduling for referred patients

  • Communication with Language Interpreter Services when necessary, to facilitate the registration of non-English speaking patients, and for individuals who are hearing impaired.

  • Provide administrative support for all dental centers

  • Initiate reports on availability of appointments

  • Fulfills scheduling requests as directed by the Patient Experience Administrator

  • Updates position knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

  • Enhances organization reputation by providing a high level of exceptional patient experience throughout the patient phone interaction; accepting ownership of new and different requests as policies change and the organization continues to grow; exploring opportunities to add value to position accomplishments

  • All other duties as assigned

Job Specification

  • Experience in Communications, Hospitality, Business Administration, or equivalent

  • Minimum three years of experience in customer service
