Position Description: Licensed Practical Nurse Reports To: COO/CMOFLSA Status: Hourly ndash; Non-Exempt Direct Reports: Medical Assistants for CenterPurpose: At Western Wayne Family Health Centers the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for both the medical departments. The LPN has a dual role that involves clinical and administrative duties. The individual is responsible for daily management and direction of everything that needs to be completed so that providers and support staff can perform their jobs effectively and patients have the best experience possible. The manager is involved in all the day to say administrative tasks required to keep a clinic site operating smoothly. They must focus on the business aspects of operating a medical office, with duties that include, but are not limited to ordering supplies, hiring staff, managing schedules, responding to patient concerns and /or requests, managing and supervising staff across a minimum of three departments; and problem solving. The three major target goals for daily operations are increasing productivity, providing excellent customer service, and adhering to quality standards in all aspect of operations.PART I: ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTION AND DUTIES uAdministrative/uolliDirect and oversee daily office operations and delegate authority to assigned staff./liliAssist providers and clinical staff in understanding/implementing clinic policies and procedures./liliEstablishes and maintains an efficient and responsive patient flow system./liliResponds in appropriate manner to all patient concerns, complaints, and special requests within 24 hours of incident./liliDevelops guidelines for prioritizing work activities, evaluating effectiveness, and modifying activities as necessary. Ensures that office is staffed appropriately./liliOversee activities directly related to providing services and producing daily encounters and coordinating multiple departments to ensure they are all operating under the same direction./liliImplements and upholds established policies, procedures, objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection control, and codes and requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies; conferring with executive and management teams and staff members as necessary./liliWork with Quality department t
