POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clinic Assistant is a facility trained assistant providing support to the desk and flow nurses, as well as the providers in the clinic. The Clinic Assistant performs technical tasks and office desk work tasks that are delegated by the Clinic RN, LPN, Certified Medical Assistant or provider.
Education, Training, Licensing and Credentialing
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Life support certification
Experience or training in healthcare field
Preferred:
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification
Experience and Skills
Preferred:
1+ years experience providing patient care in a clinic environment
Knowledge of medical terminology
Medical assisting experience
