Speech Language Pathologist Traveling Part Time$1,500 Bonus after 150 productive, clinical hours are generated and documented! In the Speech-Language Pathologist role, bring your commitment and clinical skills to a team-based workplace that puts people first. With an office based in Grand Rapids, NeuroRestorative-Mi is seeking a dynamic SLP to service participants in Grand Rapids and the neighboring communities. This autonomous and professional role includes providing home and community based assessments and interventions to our unique population of persons being served.. Direct and administer speech therapy using techniques that assist in the rehabilitation of individuals with functional disabilities of speech, language, voice, and swallowing.
Our population of participants are in need of rehabilitation for TBI, SCI, orthopedic injuries and/or other neurologic compromise
Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, SLP diagnoses and treats speech, language, voice, swallowing and cognitive disorders .
Counsels, educates and advises individuals served and their families regarding SLP protocols and plans of care, and develops home programs as needed.
Directs and administers services using techniques that assist in the rehabilitation of individuals with functional disabilities of speech, language, voice, swallowing and cognition.
Instruct individuals served, family members, and primary caregivers as needed to ensure the maintenance of or acquisition of optimal functioning level for each individual.
Ensure effective coordination of home care services through timely completion of required documentation and transfer of pertinent medical data to the individual’s physician, Director of Clinical Services, and other caregivers.
Report and record assessments, evaluations, therapy interventions, and patient changes according to physician orders and the Mentor Network’s policies.
Investigate and take appropriate actions on all concerns and/or complaints.
Maintain appropriate HIPPA compliance and a safe patient environment.
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
One year experience as a Speech Language Therapist.
Current state licensure and ASHA CCCs .
Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Commitment to a multidisciplinary team approach.
