Spectrum Health Medication History Pharmacy Technician Full Time Nights in GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan
Position SummaryProvides technical assistance in the documentation and clarification of medication history lists under the direction of the pharmacist. Processes, enters, and interprets physician/nurse medication histories, under the direction of the pharmacist, and completes full history documentation in computerized system. Clarifies information through communication with providers, patients, and pharmacies. Performs special projects for the department. Works with multiple medication automation systems. Basic Qualifications: Education - High School Diploma or equivalent Experience - 1 year of relevant experience in Pharmacy Licenses - Pharmacy Intern License Pharmacy Tech License Pharmacy Tech and#8211; Certified (PHARM TECH) 90 Days Or Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) 90 Days Preferred Qualifications: Education - Associate's Degree in health care or related field Experience - 2 years of relevant experience in Retail Pharmacy
