We are seeking CNMs who have a strong interest in working in an academic setting and are dedicated to education, enjoy working in teams, and are comfortable in high volume, high acuity units. Spectrum Health is a highly reliable organization with a strong emphasis on a culture of safety.
Under medical direction, provides care to mothers and babies through antepartum, intrpartum, post-partum and neonatal phases the maternity cycle for the medically uncomplicated patient. Provides gynecological care including family planning.
Our ideal candidate would possess:
3+ years of experience as a CNM in full-scope practice
Core Midwifery skills including - colposcopy, circumcision and basic OB ultrasound
Serve professionally within the community as well as throughout SHMG

Masters degree from an accredited nurse-midwifery or nurse practitioner program
Nurse Midwife, Licensed (MIDWIFE) by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
Active RN license in Michigan
Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) SHMG: Required within 120 days
