Department: Cardiac Cath Lab
Shift: Days
Daily Work Times: 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Scheduled Bi-Weekly Hours: 72
Position Summary
Responsible
for assessing physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs of each patient
within assigned unit area and planning nursing care to meet those needs. Monitors and evaluates cardiac rhythm pre and
post procedure as indicated. Prepares patients and explains procedures to them
monitors patients status before, during and after procedures.
Qualifications
Required:
Graduate from anaccredited school of nursing
Michigan licensureas a Registered Nurse
Minimum of twoyears of experience required in a cardiac critical care unit (2C, CCU,ICU), step down units (4C, 9T, 12T), Emergency Department, PACU, CardiacCath Lab, EP Lab or Neuro Interventional Procedures Lab
ACLScertification
Preferred:
Previousexperience as a Registered Nurse in a Cath Lab.
