Position Summary
Responsible for assessing physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs of each patient within assigned unit area and planning nursing care to meet those needs. Monitors and evaluates cardiac rhythm pre and post procedure as indicated. Prepares patients and explains procedures to them monitors patients status before, during and after procedures.

Qualifications:
Required:
2years of related formal education/training beyond high school required.
Licensed and registration to practice nursing in State of Michigan.
ACLS
PALS certification (PACU only) within 12 months of hire or transfer.
Preferred:
- 2 years basic med/surg nursing and/or 1 year criticalcare nursing.
