McLaren Health Care Physician Recruiter in Flint, Michigan
Manages physician recruitment projects to
maintain and enhance physician/ residents and hospital relations for McLaren
Medical Group and McLaren Healthcare. Targets search priorities to align with
community need, MMG strategic initiatives, succession planning and needs of
physician practices. Develops and maintains positive and collaborative
relationships with physician community.
Physician recruiters will actively design and implement recruitment and
retention programs targeting McLaren residency and fellowship programs.

Manage physician recruitmentprojects to maintain and enhance physician/hospital relations for McLarenMedical Group. Develop and maintain positive and collaborativerelationships with McLaren Graduate Medical Education resident physiciancommunity.
Maintain and update annuallyand as required McLaren Medical Group Community needs assessment forphysician services and associated business plan. Targets search prioritiesto align with community need, McLaren Medical Group strategic initiatives,succession planning, and needs of physician practices.
Participate in positiondevelopment and approval.
Research, develop andimplement sourcing strategies for candidate generation and screening.
Prepare assessments of viablecandidates and presents to hiring decision-maker.
Schedule and coordinatecandidate interviews and travel.
Facilitate identification ofpreferred candidates and develop compensation proposal. Solicits feedbackfrom interviews and candidates.
Facilitate in contractnegotiation with candidate and offer acceptance process.
Participate in development ofannual physician recruiting budget.
Develops tracking andreporting tools for recruiting activities (e.g. cost per hire, etc).
Develop and participate inpresentations to McLaren Graduate Medical Educate Residents and currentfaculty regarding McLaren Medical Group opportunities, contractnegotiation, work RVU’s, and other items as needed.
Participate in McLarenMedical Group practice acquisition serving as an internal consultantregarding staffing needs and projections.
Ability to travel to variousMcLaren locations as needed
Represent McLaren MedicalGroup Physician Recruitment, serving as an advisor and resource toAdministration, leadership, and colleagues.
Performs other dutiesconsistent with purpose of job as directed.
Knowledge of physicianrecruitment normally acquired by completing a Bachelor’s degree or equivalentcombination of education and relevant experience in order to manage physicianrecruitment projects, target search priorities, and develop positive andcollaborative relationships with the physician community.
A minimum of three (3) years of relatedexperience in healthcare, human resources or provider recruitment
