Description
Position Summary:
Performs venipuncture, obtains urine samples, performs EKG's, and performs clerical duties.
Performs venipuncture and capillary draws with minimal pain
Performs EKG's
Performs clerical duties, i.e. charges, ordering, filing
Obtains urine samples from patients
Assists patient flow, directions, reassembles room
Helps with vital signs as assigned and direct patient care
Performs spirocare and TENS unit instruction
Qualifications
Required:
Graduate of accredited school of Medical Assistant, or 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous clerical experience
BLS certification within 3 months of hire
Preferred:
Phlebotomy experience/certification
Experience performing EKG's
