The School of Journalism at Michigan State University is seeking outstanding candidates for anticipated fixed-term (non-tenure stream) faculty positions in multicamera production and post-production. These are part-time positions. Primary responsibilities will be teaching either online or campus classes.
Responsibilities will include some combination of the following:teaching a course or courses in multicamera production and post-production that students can apply in careers in news media and other industries.
Position’s rank will be at the level of Assistant Instructor, Instructor or Assistant Professor, depending on qualifications. Appointment will be for one semester beginning fall 2020. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Doctorate -Journalism and Mass Communication or rel
Degree requirements differ depending on rank. Professional experience in multicamera production, post-production or related area; commitment to working as part of a team; and excellent communication and leadership skills.
Teaching experience is desired.
