Henry Ford Health System Clinical Research Assistant Full time- Infectious Disease in Detroit, Michigan

  • Under the supervision of the investigator(s) and research coordinator, and following established policies and procedures, performs a variety of clinical research activities, and participates in carrying out research objectives, ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory and protocol guidelines.

  • Provides technical support to the investigator(s) and research coordinator, and serves as a liaison between the institution and the sponsor.

  • Researches literature in the field.


  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. Completion of Medical Assistant course can be utilized in this position.

  • A Bachelors degree can be utilized in this position.

  • Two to three years of relevant experience.

  • Requires a working knowledge of computer applications.

  • A working knowledge of research methodology, medical terminology preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Self motivated and driven; customer focused; ability to talk with people about sensitive medical diagnosis topics; numbers and results orientated; Bachelor's degree preferred, some medical knowledge required; Flexibility with hours is required Monday-Friday. Ability to discuss HIV and STD's with patients openly and on a regularly basis.
