Responsible for assisting in the design and planning of epidemiological studies; oversee database development and management using Redcap software, EPIC and data abstraction and management techniques; assist biostatisticians and clinical investigators in the analysis and interpretation of data obtained from studies using SAS for data analysis; responsible for the identification, recruitment and follow up of study subjects while complying with HIPAA policies; utilize SAS statistical software programming, epidemiological/statistical methods, data management and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements to perform duties; responsible for IRB regulatory application submissions and drafting progress reports, and design and analysis of clinical trials; conducts literature reviews, participates in journal clubs, keeps current with epidemiological literature and methods, develop procedure manuals and report formats; compiles progress or status reports on varying aspects of each study; responsible for performing various tasks in support of biomedical and epidemiological studies, assessing eligibility of study participants, explaining aims of studies and obtaining patient consent to enroll, information verification and data entry, developing and editing study protocols, manuals, data collection sheets and consent forms; assist in training and overseeing personnel involved in studies, coordinate quality control activities; liaise with external collaborators, assist with oversight of project specific budgets, assist Principal Investigators in drafting and presenting abstracts, posters and manuscripts.

Education: Master’s Degree – Public Health, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree).
Other Requirements: Experience must include one (1) academic semester of coursework, research work or internship that included use of all the following: SAS statistical software programming, Redcap software, EPIC, epidemiological/statistical methods, data management, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements, IRB regulatory application submissions, and design and analysis of clinical trials.
