div divuGENERAL SUMMARY: /uIn collaboration with the Medical Chief, Imaging and Administrative Directors, directs all imaging and nuclear medicine activities at the Dearborn Hospital and associated ambulatory medical buildings, as well as oversees all administrative diagnostic radiology sites at the Dearborn Hospital campuses and buildings. Includes strategic and operational planning, financial management and business development. System leadership position with primary responsibilities including client satisfaction, efficient operations, overall profitability and execution of divisional objectives and goals. Provide functional integration of programs across the system and create a high performing team environment. Follows Beaumont philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times. Reports to VP Svc Excellence, Administration.uESSENTIAL DUTIES:/u1. Directs all Imaging and Nuclear Medicine Operations at Dearborn Hospital and associated Ambulatory locations.2. Accountable for day to day operations for Department of Radiology services including staffing models, hours of operation and study protocols to maximize efficiency and throughput. Standardize services as appropriate across all areas of imaging to promote transparency of imaging services to patients.3. Plans and directs all aspects of operations consistent with strategic and operational planning, financial management, and business development and growth initiatives.4. Oversees practice management including HR management, performance improvements, compliance, revenue management, client satisfaction, Culture of Safety, efficient operations, overall profitability and create a high performing team environment.5. Responsible to meet or exceed volume and financial targets. Accountable for department expense, operating budgets, capital Budget recommendations and requests.6. Responsible to develop and maintain operations of department within fiscal and productivity guidelines as set forth by budgetary process.7. Collaborates with all Imaging Directors and Medical staff, as well as Administrative leaders in a supportive manner to foster integration across BH. Ensures that integration of best practice in operations consistent with overall goals.8. Provides direction for Revenue management policies, procedures and goals as well as guidance and coordination for information System and data needs of Diagnostic Imaging and Nuclear Medicine departments.9. Collaborates with nursing, medical staff and interdisciplinary teams to promote efficient, effective, timely, safe and quality Imaging services.10. Promotes and ensures that safety and quality standards are upheld or met by effective use of data and technology to make decisions proactively mitigates unnecessary risks for areas.11. Reflects commitment to building supportive work environments, encourages spirit of teamwork at every level and demonstrates commitment to provide safe and quality care.
