Paramedic for Critical Access Hospital Emergency Department/Acute Care setting.
High school education and/or equivalent.
Graduate from a state-approved EMS program with current Paramedic licensure in the State of Michigan required.
Current AHA (American Heart Association’s), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required or obtain within 6 months.
Current AHA (American Heart Association’s), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required or obtain within 6 months.

Specific patient care duties, including, but not limited to:
Monitoring of patient condition
Splinting, fracture care
12 Lead EKGs
Application of restraints
Assist with procedures
Apply oxygen by appropriate delivery system.
Peripheral IV cannulation and maintenance of IV lines (within scope of practice).
Cardiac defibrillation and cardioversion.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
