Description
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the reporting, analytics, and statistical analysis of healthcare claims and quality data. Possesses a strong understanding of healthcare data, including cost of care and patient utilization metrics. Aggregates disparate data from health plans and internal systems in various formats and develops meaningful reports to assist clinical leadership in the monitoring and achievement of quality performance objectives. Designs and develops data visualization solutions to communicate results to key decision makers. Analyzes trends and provides actionable insights to facilitate population health management.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in health informatics technology (HIT), healthcare administration, computer science, or related field or completion of one accredited certification in HIMSS, AHIMA, SSGI Data Analytics, Microsoft, Google, or related program.
Three years’ experience in healthcare analysis including the application of statistical methods to the analysis of healthcare data, and/or data analytics with data mining, including forecasting, simulation and predictive modeling.
Preferred:
Masters in health informatics technology or related field.
Three (3) years of healthcare experience with data mining, including forecasting, simulation and predictive modeling.
